Everyone appreciates Sundays because of the day-off they furnish us with. A common person on an average spends ‘Sundays’ lethargically.
Having a self-care Sunday means spending it productively and soothingly.

If you yearn for a calm, peaceful and placid day, make Sundays your days by implementing these steps:

1. Wake Up early


Waking up early provides you a bit greater number of hours to grab a hold of your life.
If you aren’t a morning person, it’s completely okay. Either you can sleep early a night before or you can wake up an hour before your normal waking time.
Honestly, it’s all in your head. You need as much as sleep as you think you need.

2. Go for a walk


Silence is the best form to begin your day with. The fresh morning breeze declutters your gloom-ridden thoughts. A good run or walk metabolises your body, energising it to start the day.


3. Make yourself a drink


You can either have a smoothie or some herbal tea as per your preference and need. A healthy drink quickly energises your body.
You can alternatively go for a seasonal fruit instead of a drink.

4. Take a hot/cold shower


Both hot and cold shower has their own benefits. You can take any of your choice. A bath will lead to a fresh mind and body. It renders muscle relaxation.


5. Clean your room and organize 


Staying messy will eventually perplex your mind and subconsciously, you will feel lethargic. Organise the area where you stay the most for the day. A tidy room will instantly deliver sense of efficiency.

6. Start your day with doing one thing that makes you happy

Beginning your day with your favourite activity delights and engrave positive vibes. It can be as simple as listening to your favourite song [the song that makes you genuinely happy]. 

7. Plan the day


Make a to-do list in case you have some of your work to do. Design 5-8 minutes of break after each activity to de-stress the workload.

8. The basics


• Apply moisturiser
• Oil & massage your scalp 
• Brush your hair

9. Hydrate yourself


Drink more water. Water flushes out toxicity, incresses energy and relieves stress.

10. Spend time with your people

Spend time with those who adds value to your life by just being in it. Time spend with loved ones is never wasted.
It can be your pet too. [ people do suck really]

11. Turn your notifications off and detox social media for the day


 It aids in de-stressing. It would be best if you can just stay away from your phone.

12. Stop negative self-talk


Your entire life changes the day that you decide you will no longer accept mediocrity for yourself. Practice affirmations and gratitude.


13. Read a book


There is no better friend than a book. Inhale the optimistic words, exhale the stress.
